FRAMING

Tasmanian Oak Frame

What store-bought frames do you recommend?

To frame statement prints we recommend Adler frames from Country Road. These are a higher quality of store-bought frame but cheaper than custom framing. Adler frames are available for the A3, A2 and A1 size prints. These frames include a window mat, simply remove this and pop your print in place. If you’d prefer to keep the window mat, order a borderless print that is the size of the window cutout, e.g. the A1 frame fits an A2 print with the window mat in place.

Do you offer framing?

Yes! We offer professional framing of our statement prints in sizes A3-A0 for Australian customers. This is the best way to present and preserve your prints for the future.

How do I order a frame?

Simply select 'yes' for the framing option on each product listing.

What do your frames look like?

We use raw Tasmanian oak to frame our prints. It provides a beautiful, natural texture to compliment the landscape. Our frames are 2cm in width and 4cm deep for size A2-A0 prints. We use a 2cm depth for smaller A3 prints. Monochrome prints come with a smooth, satin black frame pictured in the product listing.

You can find examples of our A1 frame in the Byron Blues listing.

How are the prints framed?

The prints are mounted on an adhesive foam backing to guarantee no rippling or warping of the print. We frame our prints without a window mat, instead using a white border on the paper. If you would prefer the image to reach all the way to the edge of the frame please select the 'no border' option. Frames overlap the print and glass by 5mm, therefore adding 1.5cm on all sides to the original print dimensions. All frames are sealed at the back and include d-rings and string, already assembled for placement.

What glass is in the frames?

Frame prices include 2mm clear glass. This can be swapped out for UV filter or non-reflective glass for an additional cost. Please email info@kiahstudio.com to organise these extras.

How are framed prints delivered?

All of our framed pieces are packed and delivered safely via courier. Due to their special nature you must sign for all framed deliveries.

What do framed prints cost to deliver?

We offer a flat-rate cost for courier services of $30 Australia-wide.

How long will it take for my print to be framed?

We require 7 business days to have your print custom framed. This is additional to normal lead times for shipping.Â
